Summerhill's 48 spacious units (6 different floor plans) feature
room-wide sets of windows with open views to the Preserve or Lake Smetana.
The kitchens are large and furnished with all appliances, an island, and
an eating area.
Units all have formal dining, as well as laundry
rooms and very ample storage rooms. Each unit includes one parking stall
in the heated, underground garage.

Amenities for Retirement Living
Building amenities include a
Great Room with
fully-equipped kitchen for group dining or private
parties (reservation required). A Guest Room
is
also available by reservation for a nominal fee.
The
Craft Room
provides space for the decorating committee to create seasonal centerpieces
for the Great Room tables and the foyer. The Woodshop
is a place for the maintenance committee to work. Individual residents are
free to work in these rooms as well. The Fitness Room,
the Card and Game Rooms,
the well-stocked Library - all offer residents an opportunity to keep body
and mind in good health.

Activity Committee plans various
scheduled activities, such as pancake breakfasts and potluck or catered
dinners. Other activities based on smaller group interests are also
organized. Gardeners
may help maintain flower beds around the complex or work in their own
vegetable or flower garden plots.

Summerhill Senior Housing Cooperative is governed by a board of directors,
elected annually by the residents. Association meetings are held once a
month. The building is managed by Realife Management Services, Inc., who
staff the office part-time with a resident manager.
